Pinterest has been a life saver in some ways, with so many fun, meaningful quotes that help me in so many aspects of my life. These five I had originally found or found something very similar on Pinterest and have since appropriated to my inspiration board. 

I’m a big fan of inspiration boards. I tend to keep them digital since I don’t like clutter in my physical space. I have a google doc on my phone with these quotes and other inspiring images that I can look at when I don’t feel like going to the gym.

1. Have fun with it. Blast music, dance, be super, play.

Would Batman skip a workout? Obviously not. Be Batman. Be Beyonce. Be your energetic, playful inner child. Have fun!

2. I am so grateful that my body is healthy enough to exercise. Simply the fact that I CAN is exciting enough reason to do so.

This one is particularly meaningful to me in the line of work I do daily but we all know those that really can’t do what we can do. At times, it’s helpful to think of them which helps you feel so grateful to be able to do what you can and to be able to improve and get stronger/faster/fitter.

3. I never regret it when I do it but I always regret it when I don’t.

Think of yourself in 2 hours, 12 hours, or yourself tomorrow. Your future self will be kicking you in the behind if you don’t get in that workout.

4. Do it tired.

People say “Do it scared” all the time. I’m not scared. I’m so tired I can barely see straight. Good. Do it tired.

5. There is not enough time to reach your full potential if you keep saying I’ll do it later. 

You only have so much time every day and in your lifetime. The more time you take away from the gym, the less time you have left in the world to become your best.
